Javed Khan, Safeeon's president, is himself a true Silicon Valley success story. He founded IT systems integrator Jeskell, Inc. in 1991 and led it from zero to $132 million in annual sales in just 15 years — without debt or outside financing.

Along the way, he built a nationwide organization of skilled sales and technical experts to serve government organizations (Federal, State. Local), educational institutions, and commercial enterprises.

Before starting Jeskell, Javed spent nine years with General Electric and five years in sales for IBM. He also earned an M.S.M.E from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara.

Jeskell began with Javed, one sales rep and a part-time tech. By 2006, Jeskell was in the top five percent of all IBM Premier Business Partners and ranked #199 in the prestigious VARBusiness500 list of the top system integrators in North America. VARBusiness is the leading IT industry reseller publication. In addition, GovernmentVAR magazine, the leading publication in the government IT reseller market, named the company Government IT Solution Provider of the Year.

Late in 2006, Javed engineered a successful sale of Jeskell to FusionStorm, Inc., one of the very largest national providers of IT products and services. He then stayed on into 2008 to guide the integration of the two companies.

It was during this transition that Javed’s success as a businessperson and industry leader was recognized with the VARBusiness500 Lifetime Achievement Award. Now, with Safeeon, Javed looks forward to sharing his hard-earned expertise to help others achieve their goals.
